Q&A
What is CalXd?
CalXd is an iOS calorie counting app for people who train and need a fast calorie tracker for their physique goals. Log meals by photo, voice, text, or barcode, and AI handles the rest.
How does photo calorie tracking work?
Take a photo of your meal. The AI estimates the ingredients and portion sizes and returns calories, protein, fats and carbs. Results are estimates, marked with ≈ in the app: correct the portion with one tap, or edit the numbers by hand. When a photo leaves the portion unclear, CalXd can ask you one short question before it saves the meal.
Is CalXd free?
CalXd is free to download. Using it needs Pro or the App Store trial: after onboarding, an account without either sees the paywall. In the App Store, eligible new subscribers get a 7-day free trial; after it Pro renews at 20 USD, 20 EUR or 100 PLN a year, or 5 USD, 5 EUR or 10 PLN a week, in your storefront's currency. There is no free Pro plan.
How much does CalXd cost in Poland?
In the App Store, CalXd Pro is 100 PLN a year or 10 PLN a week. On Android and in the browser, Pro is 20 PLN a month or 100 PLN a year through Stripe, with no trial. Both channels unlock the same features. The yearly plan works out to about 8.33 PLN a month.
Does CalXd track macronutrients?
Yes. CalXd tracks calories, protein, fats, and carbs. At most once every 7 days it reads your weight trend over the last 3 weeks and, when there is enough data, suggests a new calorie target; you decide whether to apply it. The first suggestion comes no earlier than 4 weeks into a goal.
How accurate is AI food tracking?
Photo results are estimates of what is visible in the image, and every one can be edited. For packaged foods, barcode lookup provides database values; check the label when precision matters.
How is CalXd different from other calorie trackers?
CalXd has no product database to search through: on iOS, you log a meal by photo, voice, text or barcode. It shows no ads and has no social feed.
Can I export my data?
Yes. CalXd exports your weight history and meal history as CSV files, which open in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets. You can export everything or select a specific date range.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Subscriptions bought on Android or in the browser are billed by Stripe: monthly plans are fully refundable within 30 days of purchase, yearly plans within 30 days and then prorated for unused full months. Request it from the app settings. Subscriptions bought in the App Store are billed by Apple, so a refund is requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
